DC We Depart Thee

Over the last three years we have met some amazing people, shared stages with some extremely talented musicians, and had some of the best nights of our lives. None of which will be forgotten. But after 3 solid years of calling DC our home, we have made the decision to move on.

As of April 2011, Tennis System will be relocating to Los Angeles, California to further ourselves as musicians.

There are a number of people we want to give special thanks to for their constant support, encouragement, and belief in

TENNIS SYSTEM LIVE!

AHLO! We wanted to say thanks to everyone for coming out to the show at Velvet Lounge on Saturday. For those who were unable to make it, you're in luck. Our dear friends Rob & Chandler did some amazing video work for the first half of the show. They are currently editing the videos and we will have them uploaded to this post as soon as they are finished. For now, we leave you with the killer snippets our good friend Patrick shot for us.
Cheers!

CRAZIES!

Well, the last two months have been extremely hectic for Tennis System. We've played a number of local shows, been putting the finishing touches on the new single "Hey, We Tried", finishing up the new record "Teenagers" and getting ready for the local shows we have before making our way up to Canada.

We will be headlining Velvet Lounge this Saturday, February 19 with Red Moon Preachers & Bakesale. DOORS 9PM/SHOW 10PM/21+/$8

To start off the month of March, we will be playing Rock and Roll Hotel on Friday March 4 with Smith Westerns and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Show starts at 9. Tickets are going fast, so if you haven't gotten one already, click HERE to get yours.

Unfortunately, due to conflicting work schedules, we were unable to put together dates at SXSW or the mini-tour we'd hoped for. Instead, we will be focusing solely on Canada. As of now we are confirmed our Canadian Music Fest date; 9:30 Friday, March 11 at the Comfort Zone in Toronto. We're working on setting up more shows as we speak. As soon as they are confirmed, they'll be announced on our Facebook & Twitter

Upon our return from CMF Tennis System will be heading up to New York's Spike Hill in Brooklyn on Friday, March 18 with A Million Years. Our scheduled set time is 9pm and tickets are only $6. Bruar Falls in Brooklyn. We are very excited about this one! It will be our last show in New York before our big move to LA and couldn't be happier to be playing with our good friends Dialogue From A Silent Film

The "Hey, We Tried" release date has been pushed back to March. We apologize for the delay. We're still working on the track to make sure it is PERFECT! We will have the CD version available for purchase at the Rock and Roll Hotel show March 4th. We will be doing a special run of only 50. So once they're gone, they're gone.

That's all the news for now. We're really looking forward to seeing you at the upcoming shows. Keep your eyes peeled this week for an interview we did with The Washington Post's EXPRESS

Love,
Tennis System
